Experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Based in Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne

 

Full Time. Permanent. Immediate Start

Late shifts- from 2pm-11.30pm

Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding recycling company, based in North East England.

As HGV Technician / Mechanic of HGV vehicles you will carry our maintenance of heavy goods vehicles, repairs of vehicles, preparing for service, etc.

Successful candidates should have experience in maintaining and repairing:

-diesel engine, hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, overhauls, bearings, etc.

 

*driving licence and your own tools will be an advantage

 

Duties to include:

-breakdown and reactive maintenance

-MIG welding

-continuous improvement

-maintaining workshop and equipment, maintaining and service of equipment and parts

-complying with Health & Safety regulations

 

Remuneration: £10-£12 per hour (depending on experience)
